This position will be located within schools, working within the region-wide CAST Program. The Program Clinician will collaborate with various school Education Departments, - Government, Catholic and Independent – to enhance and develop services which ensure the consistent early detection, treatment and prevention of disruptive behaviour disorders in early primary school aged children. A range of services will be delivered to the children and families involved in the Program. This includes clinical screening to detect conduct disturbance; comprehensive child assessments; individual educational assessments; the development of individual classroom strategies; parent management skills training and child social skills groups. This role liaises and works closely with educational and Student Support Services staff, and will be expected to provide practical support, education and direction to classroom teachers involved in the Program. Consultation, community education and community development are also provided.

Current Victorian allied health or nursing professional registration is essential, as are highly developed interpersonal and case management skills. You will demonstrate knowledge of current issues within the modern child & adolescent mental health service delivery system. Salary and conditions are consistent with the appropriate Award, with grade/level in accordance with qualifications and experience.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory clearance of a current police record check and provision of a valid Working with Children Check.

The BHS midwifery unit is the major midwifery referral centre for Grampians Region and consists of 16 antenatal/postnatal beds, 5 birthing suits and an 8 cot Level 2 special care nursery. This is supported by our ambulatory services including antenatal clinics, childbirth education and domiciliary care.

The Regional Midwife Program offers short term placements for midwives from the Grampians region. Applicants can select from two models – the paid model and the unpaid model.

PAID MODEL: Applicants are offered a short-term casual contract for 10 shifts and can elect to work two days a week for five weeks or one day a week for ten weeks. They can work in antenatal clinic, labour ward, postnatal ward or special care nursery. This program is offered throughout the year, however there are limited places which are allocated on a first-in first-served basis.

UNPAID MODEL: Applicants work alongside a BHS midwife in a supernumerary capacity for an elected number of shifts. They can work in antenatal clinic, labour ward, postnatal ward, special care nursery, domiciliary, breastfeeding or childbirth education.

Applicants are expected to come with their own learning objectives which we will support them to meet.

We seek a highly motivated person to provide the Technical Operations Manager and Grampians Rural Health Alliance members with technical support and overall technical coordination and management of the GRHA network, in liaison with contracted network management and monitoring and telecommunications carriage organisations.

The Technical Services Officer will assist the Technical Operations Manager and members and customers of the Alliance to support day-to-day activities of network support, trouble-shooting of advanced technical issues, server hardware and software support and shared application maintenance; providing an initial contact point for ICT officers throughout the region and assisting the Technical Operations Manager in development of Technical Architectures and overall Technology support.

You will have a strong background in Systems Management, particularly across integrated Data, Voice and Video Networks.
