As a Data Review Team Member you will provide a high level of support to the service to facilitate the day to day running of specific programs, undertaking relevant data entry and customer service responsibilities. This role will require a clear understanding of program personnel, relevant organisational and program specific guidelines and application processes.

Data Review Team Members are appointed to SWEP rather than to specific programs, and may be required to work across different programs at the discretion of the SWEP Program Managers.

Your communication and interpersonal skills will be of the highest standard, including the ability to identify and solve problems constructively. High quality computer skills are essential for this role, with particular emphasis on accurate data entry.

BHS is a regional trauma centre and receives referrals from throughout the Grampians region. The Emergency Department has an annual attendance of 54,000 patients (27% paediatrics), with an admission rate of 18%. Across all categories, 75% of our patients are seen on time.

The department has an excellent training program, with paid training time for residents (6), interns (8) and registrars (10). We have had recent success in the ACEM exams and are currently accredited for 12 months ED Advanced Training.

Opportunities exist to integrate work at Ballarat Health Services with two universities.

Applicants must be registered (or eligible for specialist registration) with AHPRA and have FACEM (or equivalent) qualifications.

The initial contract is for 12 months with possibility of extension.

Key Selection Criteria:

Essential Attributes
Be eligible for registration as qualified Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate
Hold a current Working with Children Check
Demonstrated excellent midwifery knowledge and skills across the care continuum
Be self directed, innovative, resourceful and adaptable to change
Demonstrated high level communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team of diverse stakeholders
Current drivers license
